Compensation: Orem, UT: $140,000 - $175,000 base, DOE | Philippines: PHP 2,500,000 - 3,600,000 annually (approx. $45,000 - $65,000 USD equivalent), DOE

Position Summary:

The NetSuite Architect owns the technical design and health of SunPower's NetSuite ERP environment, ensuring financial, order-to-cash, and operational processes are supported by a clean, well-governed system as the company integrates newly acquired businesses. This role bridges Finance, Accounting, and IT, translating business process needs into scalable NetSuite architecture.

Essential Duties:

  • Own the technical architecture of SunPower's NetSuite instance(s), including customizations, SuiteScript, workflows, and saved searches.
  • Lead NetSuite design decisions for financial processes, including SOX-relevant controls and audit support.
  • Architect and oversee integrations between NetSuite and other systems (Salesforce, payroll, banking, reporting tools).
  • Partner with Accounting and Finance leadership to translate business requirements into scalable ERP solutions.
  • Lead NetSuite consolidation and cleanup work as newly acquired companies are integrated onto a shared instance.
  • Establish governance standards for customizations, sandbox/production release management, and documentation.
  • Evaluate new NetSuite modules, SuiteApps, and features, and recommend adoption where they reduce manual work.
  • Troubleshoot complex, high-impact system issues and lead root-cause resolution.
  • Mentor NetSuite administrators/consultants and support their technical growth.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of hands-on NetSuite experience, including at least 3 years in a technical architect or senior technical consultant role.
  • Strong hands-on experience with SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, SuiteTalk/REST integrations, and saved search/report design.
  • Solid understanding of core financial processes (order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, revenue recognition) and related controls.
  • Demonstrated experience to include AI native to Netsuite or from outside software to link into Netsuite like credit cards, payroll systems.
  • Experience supporting NetSuite through company mergers, acquisitions, or multi-subsidiary consolidations preferred.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with both Finance/Accounting stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Comfortable working across time zones and collaborating with a distributed team (for candidates based in the Philippines, strong English communication skills required).
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent practical experience; NetSuite certifications a plus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Regular periods of sitting or standing may be required by this position. In addition, this position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
