This position is remote, allowing for flexibility and the possibility to work from the comfort of your own home. While our outpatient office in Portland serves as the home base for our team, you will primarily interact with clients through virtual platforms. • Conduct culturally sensitive and strength-based assessments for new patients and their families to identify specific needs and tailor therapeutic approaches.
• Provide individualized therapy sessions and family counseling that are rooted in the evidence-based methodologies relevant to each patient's mental health requirements.
• Manage administrative responsibilities, including timely completion of billing, documentation, individualized treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms to ensure seamless service provision.
• Develop comprehensive crisis plans, safety plans, relapse prevention plans, and wellness strategies to empower clients in maintaining stable mental health.
• Formulate effective discharge plans when clients are ready to transition out of therapy, ensuring continuity of care and ongoing support.
• Adhere to federal and state regulations, as well as agency policies, to maintain compliance and uphold the highest standards of care.
• Engage in continuous professional development through ongoing training and education to maintain licensure and enhance therapeutic skills.
• Participate actively in case consultations and agency meetings to collaborate with colleagues and share insights that drive improved patient outcomes.
• Complete all mandatory training and licensure requirements promptly to uphold the integrity of the mental health care team.

You will work with a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, and adults experiencing a variety of mental health challenges. Your work will focus on building trusting relationships with clients from differing backgrounds, ensuring that each individual feels comfortable and understood in the therapeutic environment. This role directly contributes to transforming lives by providing critical support to those in need.

• Hold a Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field that qualifies for licensure.
• Must possess valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist in Oregon (LPC, LMFT, LCSW).

• Previous experience working in outpatient settings and providing therapies to a variety of patient demographics is preferred.
• Background in utilizing electronic health record systems for documentation and billing processes is advantageous.
• Experience in crisis intervention and safety planning will be highly valued.
