This remote role provides the flexibility to work from your home while connecting with clients through virtual platforms. You will collaborate with a dedicated multidisciplinary team focused on comprehensive patient care within the detox center setting. The position involves both individual and group therapy sessions conducted through telehealth services, ensuring that you have access to the tools necessary to provide exceptional care, even from a distance.

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health concerns, strengths, and available resources.
• Deliver individual, family, and group therapy sessions using evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Utilize therapeutic techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care with clients undergoing detoxification and recovery.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, focusing on specific goals and interventions tailored to each client’s unique circumstances.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
• Participate actively in treatment team meetings to design and refine client-centered treatment strategies.
• Provide crisis intervention and risk assessment as needed, ensuring client safety through comprehensive safety planning.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with ethical and legal standards, ensuring compliance and best practices.
• Facilitate engaging group therapy sessions and psychoeducation classes that empower clients through knowledge and support.

Your work will predominantly focus on clients who are in the detox process, experiencing a range of mental health challenges associated with substance use. This population is diverse, requiring a compassionate understanding of their situations and a commitment to creating a safe space for healing. You will provide tailored therapeutic support to individuals grappling with both mental health and substance use issues, empowering them through the recovery journey.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Active and unrestricted state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• A minimum of one year of experience working in a mental health or outpatient setting, ideally with a focus on detox and recovery.
• Strong expertise in evidence-based therapeutic modalities and treatment approaches.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and assessment skills conducive to a remote work environment.

• Demonstrated work with clients undergoing substance use treatment or detoxification.
• Familiarity with telehealth technologies and virtual therapy environments.
• Prior experience in crisis intervention strategies and safety assessment protocols.
