What You'll Be Doing
  • Prepare federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations
  • Review bookkeeping and prepare adjusting journal entries as needed for tax return completion
  • Prepare and send client document request lists
  • Assist clients with tax and accounting-related questions
  • Prepare quarterly tax projections and estimated tax calculations
  • Prepare sales and use tax returns
  • Prepare and file 1099s
  • Prepare city business license renewals
  • Research complex tax issues and document findings for management review
  • Assist in developing efficiencies and improving tax department workflows
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver a high level of client service
Experience Level

  • Tax Seniors with 4+ years of public accounting tax experience

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting preferred
  • CPA or EA designation required
  • 4+ years of public accounting experience
  • 4+ years of tax preparation experience
  • Strong experience preparing individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns
  • Experience with QuickBooks Online preferred
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Proficiency with Excel, Word, and modern cloud-based technologies
  • Highly motivated with exceptional attention to detail
  • Client-service mindset with the ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines
