BPR Specialist - Basic (Business Process Reengineering Specialist - Basic)

Position Summary

Trust Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a Business Process Reengineering (BPR) Specialist - Basic to support a federal government client. This role supports business process reengineering and continuous process improvement initiatives by assisting with process analysis, documentation, stakeholder engagement, and development of process improvement recommendations. The BPR Specialist collaborates with project managers, business analysts, functional leads, and government stakeholders to support project execution and business process optimization in a federal environment.


Key Duties & Responsibilities

- Support business process analysis by gathering information through interviews, workshops, and document reviews.

- Develop and maintain process maps (current state / future state) using Visio or equivalent tools; draft process narratives and workflow documentation.

- Support requirements gathering and documentation of business needs, assumptions, constraints, and process impacts.

- Collect, organize, and analyze process-related data to support findings and improvement recommendations.

- Support process and data mining activities by assisting with data collection, validation, and interpretation of insights from process mining tools (e.g., Celonis), as applicable.

- Identify gaps, bottlenecks, redundancies, and opportunities for standardization/automation; support development of process improvement recommendations.

- Participate in stakeholder meetings; capture decisions, risks/issues, and action items; support follow-up coordination.

- Support project execution activities (status inputs, deliverable reviews, and cross-team coordination).

- Support work in Agile project environments by assisting with documentation aligned to Agile delivery (e.g., user stories and acceptance criteria support), as applicable.

- Provide support to ERP modernization efforts (e.g., SAP S/4HANA) by assisting with process documentation and change impact inputs, as applicable.

- Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree required (business, information systems, public administration, engineering, or related field).

- Minimum four (4) years of relevant experience supporting business process analysis, process documentation, requirements support, or continuous improvement initiatives (including federal consulting or government environments).

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to produce clear documentation and briefing materials.

- Experience creating process documentation using Visio or equivalent process mapping tools.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to engage professionally with diverse stakeholders.

- Must be able to obtain and maintain IT-III (or higher) clearance/credentials as required.


Preferred Qualifications

- Experience supporting federal clients and/or government programs.

- Familiarity with Agile delivery concepts (Scrum/Kanban) and working on cross-functional teams.

- Exposure to ERP environments or modernization programs (e.g., SAP S/4HANA).

- Familiarity with process mining/data mining tools (e.g., Celonis) for identifying bottlenecks, variants, and improvement opportunities.

Pay Rate

$100,000 - $110,000/ Annually
