Finance Analyst Senior - Level 3
Location: Fort Worth TX
What You Will Be Doing
The Finance Analyst Senior will play a key role on the F-35 Program Finance Team in Fort Worth, Texas, supporting financial performance management for one of the most advanced and high-visibility defense programs in the world. This position partners closely with program leadership to drive Earned Value Management (EVM) execution, financial forecasting, and performance analysis across labor, material, and reporting elements.
In this role, you will help ensure program cost baselines are established, maintained, and accurately reported while translating complex financial data into meaningful insights that inform strategic decisions. You will also serve as a trusted advisor to program stakeholders, contributing to Estimate at Complete (EAC) analysis, leadership presentations, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Earned Value Management System (EVMS) execution, including establishment and maintenance of program cost baselines
- Track, reconcile, and analyze program costs across labor, material, and other cost elements
- Perform variance analysis and develop clear explanations, risk assessments, and recommended corrective actions
- Support Estimate at Complete (EAC) development and forecasting activities
- Present financial performance and program status to various levels of leadership
- Conduct advanced data mining and financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Develop and maintain financial models and reporting tools using Excel (including pivot tables), Access, and PowerPoint
- Prepare and support monthly financial metric reporting and business rhythm activities
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members in Earned Value analysis and financial processes
- Contribute to problem-solving initiatives that enhance financial accuracy, efficiency, and insight
