Job description

Turner Staffing Group is seeking two experienced Talent Acquisition Specialists to support a long-term contract assignment for a valued client. This position will be fully remote.
This role may be performed anywhere in the United States except: California, Connecticut, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, New York, North Carolina, Oklahoma, and South Carolina. Additional state restrictions may apply based on business needs.
Position Overview
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will support high-volume recruiting efforts across multiple departments and locations. This role requires a highly organized recruiting professional capable of managing numerous open requisitions while partnering closely with hiring managers and HR teams.
Contract Role Responsibilities
  • Review applications to ensure candidate background, experience, and/or education align with minimum qualifications
  • Conduct candidate screenings via phone and resume review
  • Initiate background checks and assist with offer preparation and extension
  • Prepare pay models as needed
  • Manage and review formal resume submittals from job postings
  • Partner with hiring managers to ensure pipeline candidates align with departmental needs
  • Maintain consistent communication with HR Generalists and leadership regarding recruiting progress
Scope of Work Expectations
  • 20+ active job postings across multiple site locations
  • 30+ open vacancies without identified candidates
  • Support 15+ different position titles
  • Partner with 15+ hiring managers
  • Collaborate with 15+ HR Generalists
Qualifications
Required
  • High School Diploma or GED and six (6) years of Talent Acquisition/Human Resources experience
    OR
  • Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of Talent Acquisition/Human Resources experience
  • Knowledge of employment law principles as they apply to recruiting and hiring practices
  • Ability to manage 30+ multi-discipline vacancies simultaneously
  • Experience partnering with diverse hiring managers and HR professionals
  • Knowledge of common recruitment processes, sourcing strategies, and best practices
Preferred
  • Full-cycle recruitment experience (corporate or agency)
  • Experience recruiting for skilled trades, engineering, or professional roles
  • Mining, energy, oil, or gas industry background is a plus
