  • Develop and review engineering designs, P&IDs, and process flow diagrams (PFDs) in compliance with company standards and regulatory codes (DOT, PHMSA, ASME, API, etc.).
  • Generate and evaluate project scopes, cost estimates and project schedules for new installations, expansions, and facility upgrades.
  • Support construction, commissioning, and troubleshooting of midstream facilities in collaboration with Operations, Construction, and EHS teams.
  • Create operational documentation and provide technical training to field and operations personnel.
  • Maintain consistency and compliance in midstream engineering practices with federal and state regulations and company procedures.
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure timely and effective project execution.

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Petroleum Engineering (or a related engineering field).
  • Minimum of 4 years of engineering experience, preferably in midstream or natural gas systems.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Understanding of gas pipeline design, compression, dehydration, and metering systems.
  • Familiarity with industry codes and standards (ASME, ANSI, API, PHMSA, NACE, DOT).
  • Strong knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and process engineering principles.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proactive, results-driven mindset with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% and work a flexible schedule including weekends/holidays as needed.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience with natural gas gathering and processing projects.
  • Familiarity with engineering and simulation tools such as: Ariel Performance, ProMax, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Smartsheet, and SCADA systems.
