Snowflake , Facts Qualifier matrix, developing BI dashboards. Visual Studio Code, Github ,CI/CD Responsibilities

  • Build robust and scalable data pipelines to support business insights and decision-making
  • Analyze and organize raw data from multiple sources, creating required data elements
  • Design table structures and ETL/ELT processes for high-performance, scalable data solutions
  • Create reconciliation procedures and data checks to ensure data quality
  • Develop automated audit, balancing, and controls mechanisms
  • Provide production support including technical assistance to end-users and IT staff
  • Assist and lead requirements gathering and documentation with business partners
  • Conduct data investigations and support complex data analyses and ad-hoc queries
  • Participate in application and technical architecture analysis, design, and implementation
  • Lead efforts with data management and database specialists to troubleshoot and resolve issues
  • Design reporting applications to support reporting requests from data sources
  • Ensure adherence to metadata management and data quality standards
  • Troubleshoot and understand dependencies between data warehouse and BI tools
  • Build and maintain relationships with process owners and colleagues
  • Identify scope or effort changes that could impact deliverables or budgets
  • Demonstrate expert problem solving capabilities
Requirements
  • Proven experience designing and implementing ETL/ELT processes (preferred tools: IBM's DataStage, SQL, SAS, Python; moving to Python, DBT, SQL, Power BI)
  • Experience with CI/CD concepts and version control with GitHub
  • Proficiency with Visual Studio Code for development and debugging
  • Experience working with Snowflake for scalable data warehousing
  • Knowledge of enterprise data warehouse design artifacts such as FQM, source-to-target mapping, and schema modeling
  • Understanding of enterprise technical landscape, insurance background a plus
  • Experience developing BI dashboards with tools like Power BI; creating data quality scorecards and data lineage
  • Experience with Agile teams and mentoring development team members
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines independently
  • Ability to create visual models for processes and data flow
  • Prior reporting application support experience
  • Three or more years of requirements gathering and solution architecture experience preferred
