Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, your day-to-day activities will include:

  • Facilitating Group Therapy: Leading engaging group sessions for young adults aged 18 to 30, encouraging them to share experiences, build connections, and support one another in their recovery journey.
  • Providing Individual Therapy: Delivering personalized counseling sessions that enable clients to explore their emotions, thoughts, and behaviors, ultimately helping them develop coping strategies tailored to their needs.
  • Creating Treatment Plans: Collaborating with clients to develop individualized treatment plans that reflect their unique goals and circumstances, ensuring that they are actively involved in their therapeutic journey.
  • Monitoring Progress: Utilizing various assessment tools and feedback methods to track client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on ongoing evaluations.
  • Collaborating with Multidisciplinary Teams: Regularly coordinating with fellow professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients, communicating about complex cases and contributing to a unified approach to treatment.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary responsibility will be to support young adults and adolescents facing mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and behavioral issues. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a diverse clientele who are at a formative stage in their lives, allowing you to make significant, meaningful impacts on their recovery processes.

Qualifications
  • Master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field.
  • Hold a valid Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) license in Nevada or be able to obtain one.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to connect compassionately with clients.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Experience with evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working with young adults or adolescents in a clinical setting.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based and holistic treatment methodologies, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness practices.
  • Previous experience in an outpatient treatment setting, particularly with PHP programming.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 85,000 to 100,000 yearly, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
