Key Responsibilities
  • Provide tailored therapy strategies through individual sessions that address the unique needs and circumstances of each client.

  • Facilitate evidence-based group therapy sessions, assisting participants in building skills and knowledge to improve their mental health.
  • Employ various therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy to address a range of issues.
  • Maintain meticulous clinical records, ensuring compliance with legal standards while adhering to ethical guidelines.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to stay abreast of the latest mental health research, treatment methodologies, and best practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on individuals and families with varying levels of access to mental health resources. Many clients may be dealing with challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance abuse issues. This position requires sensitivity and the ability to build rapport with a diverse population, ensuring that all clients feel valued, understood, and supported on their journey to recovery.

Qualifications
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.
  • Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Nevada.
  • A minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting.
  • Prior experience working with families, couples, or clients dealing with substance misuse or trauma is highly valued.
  • Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards governing mental health practice.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively establish rapport with various clients.
  • Proven ability to collaborate within a healthcare team to optimize client care outcomes.
  • Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software and therapy-related technologies.
Preferred Experience
  • Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance use disorder treatment is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
