Job description

Join Axon and be a Force for Good

At Axon, we're on a mission to Protect Life. We pursue society's most critical safety and justice issues with an ecosystem of cutting-edge devices and cloud software. Like our products, we work better together. We connect with candor and care, seeking out diverse perspectives from our customers, communities, and each other.

Life at Axon is fast-paced, challenging, and deeply rewarding. Here, you'll take ownership and drive real change. You'll grow constantly as you solve meaningful problems for a mission that matters - at a company where you matter.

Impact

As Senior Director, Business Technology Solutions & Delivery, you will own the portfolio that turns Axon's strategy - across sales, finance, and operations - into delivered, reliable technology. You'll lead the Business Solutions Architecture (BSA), Program Management Office (PMO), and Quality Assurance (QA) organizations - the three functions that shape how technology projects are prioritized, delivered, and trusted across Axon's critical operational and go-to-market platforms.

You will serve as a key member of the Business Technology Leadership Team, responsible for aligning technology and delivery priorities with evolving business objectives. This role requires a strong combination of strategic thinking, organizational leadership, product mindset, operational execution, and cross-functional influence.

You will partner closely with leaders across Sales, Finance, Operations, Customer Experience, and Engineering to define roadmaps, prioritize initiatives, and deliver scalable business solutions. This role is highly collaborative, outcome-oriented, and success will be visible.

What You'll Do

Location: Hub-based (Boston, San Francisco, Scottsdale, Seattle, New York)

Schedule: Hybrid onsite Tuesday-Friday, remote Mondays

Reports to: Vice President, Business Technology

Direct Reports: 15 across BSA, PMO, and QA functions

  • Own the BSA, PMO, and QA organizations and the portfolio governance that connects them.
  • Run portfolio prioritization, project sequencing, and capacity planning across business functions.
  • Give executive leadership real-time visibility into portfolio health, risk, and tradeoffs.
  • Serve as trusted advisor to business leaders, translating strategy into executable technology initiatives.
  • Build the operating model and delivery standards that let a fast-growing company move fast without breaking enterprise reliability.
  • Oversee end-to-end delivery across requirements, execution, testing strategy, release readiness, quality.
  • Champion modern, product-led delivery practices: iterative delivery, prototyping, continuous feedback.
  • Establish KPIs that measure portfolio performance, adoption, quality, and business impact.
  • Lead and develop managers across three functions; build succession, not just execution.
  • Shape IT-wide strategy as a member of the Business Technology Leadership Team.
  • Partner with Engineering, Data, and Corporate AI teams to accelerate cross-functional execution.
  • Identify and drive process automation and transformation opportunities with business leaders.
What You Bring
  • 10+ years leading enterprise delivery, PMO, business systems, or technology organizations
  • A track record of running a portfolio (not just projects) in a complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise, prioritizing under constraint and owning the tradeoff conversations
  • Proven executive partner who collaborates effectively with Sales, Finance, and Operations leaders to drive alignment and decisive outcomes
  • Hands-on operational instinct: you can't delegate your way out of ambiguity; you report to it
  • Technical fluency that earns credibility with Engineering, Data, and IT teams
  • Experience bringing product-management disciplines (user research, iteration, adoption metrics) into IT delivery
Preferred Qualifications
  • Direct experience supporting the systems that run a company's business in a SaaS or high-growth technology environment.
  • Hands-on experience with key enterprise data, ERP, CPQ, and CRM systems including Salesforce, D365, Snowflake, or similar.
  • Experience implementing product-led delivery models within enterprise IT organizations
  • Manufacturing experience preferred.
Benefits That Benefit You
  • Competitive salary and 401(k) with employer match
  • Discretionary paid time off
  • Paid parental leave for all
  • Medical, Dental, and Vision plans
  • Fitness and wellness programs
  • Emotional & mental wellness support
  • Learning & development opportunities
  • And yes - snacks in our offices
