This full-time remote position offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $100,000 annually. As a counselor, you will provide individualized mental health services to adults, focusing primarily on those with stable, low-acuity concerns. With flexible scheduling options, you will have the freedom to work during times that suit you best, whether full-time (over 30 hours per week) or part-time (over five hours per week). Utilizing an easy-to-use counseling platform, you will conduct sessions via secure video chat, enabling meaningful interactions with clients while reducing the need for excessive paperwork.

Your primary focus as a Mental Health Counselor will be delivering compassionate and ethical counseling. Specific responsibilities include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments upon client intake to determine mental health status and needs.
• Developing and implementing tailored treatment plans that align with each client’s unique goals.
• Facilitating individual counseling sessions, helping clients cultivate coping strategies, problem-solving skills, and effective communication techniques.
• Regularly reviewing treatment plans and making necessary adjustments based on client progress and feedback.
• Documenting sessions and treatment outcomes accurately and efficiently, while minimizing paperwork burden.

You will primarily serve a clientele of stable, low-acuity adults seeking to enhance their mental well-being. Your role involves providing support for various challenges, including stress management, relationship issues, anxiety, and coping with life changes. Your efforts not only aim to improve individual outcomes but also to foster a greater sense of community well-being.

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• A current state license as a mental health professional (e.g., LMFT, LMHC, LICSW, or PsyD).
• Independent licensure with no supervisory restrictions and free from disciplinary actions.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and established computer skills, including a stable Wi-Fi connection to facilitate virtual sessions.

While not mandatory, experience working in community health settings or with remote counseling practices will be beneficial. Demonstrated proficiency in using digital counseling tools and electronic health record systems will enhance your effectiveness in this role.
