Key Responsibilities

Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough intake diagnostic assessments, encompassing tools like Gains, Locus, crisis planning, and clinical summaries, essential for effective treatment formulation.
  • Engaging with clients to identify the root causes of their mental health and substance use challenges, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to individual cases.
  • Managing ongoing therapy sessions that may include crisis intervention, cognitive behavioral therapy, or other modalities as necessary, adjusting strategies based on client progress and feedback.
  • Facilitating positive communication among stakeholders including clients, their families, medical professionals, and community agencies to ensure a coordinated approach to care.
  • Providing referrals to psychiatrists, advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs), or substance use disorder professionals for further assessment when appropriate.
  • Documenting all client interactions accurately using electronic health records (EHR) systems to ensure compliance and continuity of care.
