Position Overview

Helping Hand Healthcare Services, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Virtual Mental Health Counselor, licensed as either a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). Key Responsibilities

Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough intake diagnostic assessments, encompassing tools like Gains, Locus, crisis planning, and clinical summaries, essential for effective treatment formulation.
• Engaging with clients to identify the root causes of their mental health and substance use challenges, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to individual cases.
• Managing ongoing therapy sessions that may include crisis intervention, cognitive behavioral therapy, or other modalities as necessary, adjusting strategies based on client progress and feedback.
• Facilitating positive communication among stakeholders including clients, their families, medical professionals, and community agencies to ensure a coordinated approach to care.
• Providing referrals to psychiatrists, advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs), or substance use disorder professionals for further assessment when appropriate.
• Documenting all client interactions accurately using electronic health records (EHR) systems to ensure compliance and continuity of care.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.
• Active licensure in Washington State as either a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).
• No history of medical malpractice claims, as verified by a third-party source.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Demonstrated ability to interact respectfully and effectively with clients and colleagues from various cultural and ethical backgrounds.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working within community health settings, particularly in remote environments.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices and evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
• Proven ability to manage a varied caseload while effectively collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for client documentation and treatment tracking.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 105,000 per year, commensurate with your experience and caseload. Additionally, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
