Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health needs and develop tailored treatment plans aimed at addressing their unique challenges.
• Refer clients to psychiatrists, advanced practice registered nurses (APRN), or substance use disorder specialists when further assessment or treatment is required.
• Empower clients facing low self-esteem, family issues, addiction, and suicidal thoughts by providing practical solutions and actionable strategies to help them navigate and overcome these obstacles.
• Maintain meticulous records of client interactions and progress, utilizing data-driven insights to refine treatment methodologies.
• Collaboratively work with family members of clients to monitor behavioral changes and assess treatment responses, fostering a support network that enhances outcomes.
• Provide crisis intervention services as necessary, employing de-escalation techniques and effective communication to manage clients during urgent situations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses on a varied clientele, including individuals struggling with mental health disorders, substance use issues, and social challenges. By offering empathetic and evidence-based counseling services, you will play a crucial role in transforming the lives of those in need, making a tangible difference in the community's mental landscape.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).
• No history of medical malpractice claims, to be verified by a third party.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a telehealth environment and familiarity with relevant technology and communication tools.
• Prior experience dealing with clients who face a combination of emotional health and life challenges.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport quickly with clients and their families.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 105,000 per year, commensurate with experience and caseload.
