Job description

Role overview

You’ll create digital and print design assets for marketing, campaigns, study materials, web content, social media, advertising, portfolios, swag, and related formats while following established creative direction and brand standards.

Design and production work

  • Execute creative direction from the Art Director.
  • Produce finished assets across campaigns and projects from brief to delivery.
  • Create digital marketing graphics, social media graphics, website content, and related formats.
  • Create print marketing pieces, study materials, portfolios, swag, and related formats.
  • Manage and complete print projects accurately and on schedule.
  • Prepare print-ready files and ensure technical specifications are met.
  • Work with vendors to gather samples, quotes, and timelines.
  • Perform press checks when necessary.
  • Maintain quality control for printed marketing and branding materials.

Brand and workflow support

  • Apply brand guidelines consistently across all assets.
  • Flag brand ambiguities or gaps to the Art Director.
  • Maintain working knowledge of current design trends.
  • Manage personal workflow according to assigned priorities.
  • Identify timeline risks before they affect delivery.
  • Develop and maintain an organized marketing asset resource library.
  • Oversee postage and mailing logistics for printed marketing materials.
  • Support onboarding of contract designers by explaining file organization, brand guidelines, and workflow expectations.
  • Complete other duties assigned by the Art Director.

What you’ll need

  • 3 or more years of graphic design or production design experience required.
  • Portfolio required, including digital and print work.
  • Bachelor's degree in art, design, or a related field preferred.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
  • Strong production knowledge, including file preparation, color management, print specifications, and digital asset sizing.
  • Ability to work within established brand guidelines.
  • Understanding of color, typography, layout, print standards, and digital production standards.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Clear communication with internal teams, external partners, vendors, and contract designers.
  • Ability to receive creative direction and feedback constructively.
  • Ability to work independently and complete assigned projects with minimal supervision.
  • Familiarity with a Bible study publisher, Christian ministry, or nonprofit is a plus.
