Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct confidential live video therapy sessions with individual adult clients, using evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address mental health issues.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team of psychiatric providers, including psychologists and psychiatrists, to formulate comprehensive treatment plans that reflect each client's holistic needs.
  • Utilize symptom self-assessments and goal progress measures to monitor client improvement and adapt treatment strategies accordingly, ensuring individualized care.
  • Engage in regular team meetings to share insights, seek guidance, and foster a supportive environment among fellow therapists.
  • Document client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately in our EHR system to meet compliance standards.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on adult clients experiencing various psychological challenges, ranging from anxiety and depression to relationship issues and life transitions. You will work closely with individuals committed to enhancing their mental wellness, fostering a therapeutic alliance that promotes trust and empowerment in the healing process.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology is required.
  • Active licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, LCSW, or PsyD in the state of California.
  • Strong command of telehealth methodologies and technology.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, ensuring clear and effective interactions with clients.
  • A commitment to professionalism, with a neat and organized approach to client sessions and presentations.
  • Empathetic and warm engagement skills, crucial for building rapport with clients.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of two years’ experience providing telehealth therapy to adolescents and young adults is strongly preferred.
