This full-time remote role offers the opportunity to provide essential mental health support to individuals from the comfort of your home. You will play a vital role in helping clients unfold their potential through evidence-based therapeutic interventions, while also being a part of a community that actively combats the stigma surrounding mental health issues.

About the Organization

Wellness First Psychiatric Center is a leading provider of mental health services, committed to enhancing the quality of life for those facing mental health challenges. Our team of skilled professionals is dedicated to providing comprehensive, compassionate care through innovative therapies and personalized treatment approaches. We take pride in our collaborative efforts with various healthcare providers to ensure enduring patient support and recovery.

Work Environment

Your work will be conducted entirely remotely, allowing for flexibility in your daily routine. You will utilize a secure telehealth platform to offer video sessions, making mental health services accessible to clients who may have barriers to in-person appointments. The supportive remote work culture promotes collaboration with fellow mental health counselors and psychiatric providers, ensuring a united approach to patient care. Our team fosters an environment of camaraderie and mutual support, providing ongoing consultation and resources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver weekly, evidence-based mental health services via live video sessions tailored to the needs of individual adults.
  • Engage collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatric providers and counselors to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Utilize automatically administered symptom self-assessments, functional improvement measures, and personalized goals to assess patient progress and adapt treatment plans accordingly.
  • Participate actively in team meetings and consultations to share insights and receive support when needed.
  • Maintain meticulous client records through electronic health record (EHR) systems, documenting progress and treatment interventions effectively.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The focus of your practice will center on adult clients, providing personalized care that addresses a range of mental health concerns. You will support individuals navigating issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges, facilitating a path toward healing and self-discovery. Your empathetic engagement will foster a safe environment where clients can express their vulnerabilities and aspirations.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology is required.
  • Active state licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, LCSW, or PsyD.
  • Proficient use of technology is essential, including familiarity with Google Suite and EHR systems.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are vital for effective client interactions and documentation.
  • Professional demeanor and appearance are expected at all times during virtual sessions.
Preferred Experience
  • 2-3 years of experience delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions, specifically in a telehealth setting.
  • Prior experience working with adolescents and young adults is highly preferred.
  • A willingness to engage in continuous training, especially within our evidence-based treatment frameworks known as 'care pathways.'
  • Demonstrated ability to establish genuine rapport and trust with clients through warm, empathetic engagement.
  • A dependable home office setup with a reliable internet connection and dedicated space for maintaining confidentiality during sessions.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Attractive annual salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000, commensurate with experience.
  • A comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement planning options, and generous paid time off.
  • Professional development opportunities, including access to continuing education resources.
  • Flexibility to create your own schedule within Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a work-life balance.
  • No on-call responsibilities are required, allowing you to focus on your scheduled client engagements.
