Position Overview

Empire City Family & Marriage Counseling PC is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced full-time Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to provide valuable therapy services in a fully remote environment. This role offers an engaging opportunity for an independently licensed therapist who is passionate about enhancing the mental health and well-being of our diverse client population.

About the Organization

At Empire City Family & Marriage Counseling PC, we pride ourselves on being a tight-knit group of skilled therapists dedicated to meaningful work. Our practice is located in Buffalo Grove, Illinois, and while we operate primarily from remote settings, we maintain strong connections and collaborative relationships with local providers to ensure continuity of care for our clients. Our focus is on establishing profound therapeutic relationships that foster trust, healing, and personal growth.

Work Environment

The work setting is primarily remote, allowing you the flexibility to provide therapy from the comfort of your home while enjoying a hybrid model that suits your lifestyle. We utilize cutting-edge electronic medical records (EMR) systems and billing services to streamline administrative processes, enabling our therapists to focus on what they do best: delivering high-quality therapy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct individual and couples therapy sessions addressing a variety of clinical issues across different age groups, creating personalized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs.
  • Maintain a thorough record of client interactions, ensuring that all notes and documentation are completed promptly and meet legal and ethical standards.
  • Manage your schedule effectively by coordinating ongoing appointments, ensuring availability for both day and evening sessions as required.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to implement treatment best practices, share insights, and foster a supportive environment that enhances overall therapy outcomes.
  • Utilize practice management tools for client billing, claims processing, and insurance verification, allowing for a seamless billing experience for your clients.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clientele consists of individuals and couples from diverse backgrounds, facing challenges related to anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and more. As a successful LCSW, you will work closely with clients of all ages, facilitating their journey through personal challenges and contributing positively to their mental health outcomes.

Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field is mandatory.
  • A valid LCSW license is required, allowing for independent practice.
  • Strong professionalism, cultural competence, and the ability to maintain excellent therapeutic boundaries are critical.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills to navigate client schedules efficiently.
  • Ability to document client interactions meticulously and complete necessary paperwork in a timely manner.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum commitment of 20-25 hours per week, with availability for at least two evenings per week to accommodate client schedules.
  • Significant training or experience in couples therapy is a plus and will be heavily favored in the selection process.
  • Demonstrated passion for ongoing professional development and a commitment to enhancing therapeutic skills.
Compensation and Benefits

Empire City Family & Marriage Counseling PC offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $100,000 annually, with opportunities for additional bonuses based on performance. Benefits include:

  • A flexible work schedule that supports a balance between professional commitments and personal life.
  • Fully covered overhead costs, which encompass furnished office space (when applicable), EMR systems, office supplies, and malpractice insurance.
  • Access to health insurance packages designed to meet the personal needs of our employees.
  • As a W2 employee, you will receive hourly compensation, ensuring financial stability.
Career Growth Opportunities

Joining our practice not only allows you to provide essential mental health services but also supports your professional growth. We encourage our therapists to participate in continuous education, attend workshops, and engage in peer supervision, leading to further skills development and specialization in specific therapeutic practices.

Why Join Our Team
