Job Summary

The Senior AI Engineer designs, develops, and deploys AI-powered solutions that improve operational efficiency, automate business processes, and support data-driven decision-making across Loenbro. This role partners closely with operations, IT, and business leaders to translate complex business challenges into scalable, secure, and practical AI solutions that deliver measurable business value.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered tools, applications, and intelligent workflows that improve business and operational performance.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for automation and transform operational challenges into scalable AI solutions.
  • Build and integrate AI systems, agents, and automation solutions using APIs, large language models (LLMs), and enterprise technologies.
  • Establish prompt engineering, validation, governance, and monitoring practices to ensure reliable, secure, and responsible AI outcomes.
  • Create user-friendly interfaces, dashboards, and tools that enable adoption of AI capabilities across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Evaluate emerging AI technologies and contribute to Loenbro's long-term AI strategy, architecture, and innovation roadmap

Minimum Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related technical
  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, data science, or a related technical discipline, including 3+ years of hands-on AI/ML development
  • 2+ years of experience building and deploying AI agents, agentic workflows, or autonomous AI solutions in a production
  • Experience designing, developing, and deploying solutions using modern AI platforms, large language models (LLMs), APIs, and cloud-based AI services (Azure AI Services, OpenAI, AWS AI/ML, Google Vertex AI, or similar).
  • Demonstrated ability to gather business requirements, architect scalable solutions, and integrate AI technologies into enterprise

 

Preferred:

  • Experience with prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), vector databases, or AI orchestration frameworks.
  • Experience with automation platforms such as Microsoft Power Automate, Zapier, Make, or similar workflow technologies.
  • Knowledge of AI governance, data security, role-based access controls, and responsible AI practices.
  • Experience leading cross-functional technology initiatives and driving adoption of emerging technologies across an organization.
