• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions, tailoring approaches to meet the unique needs of each client.
• Monitor and assess clients' progress throughout the treatment plan, making necessary adjustments based on observed outcomes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of mental health specialists, including doctors, nurses, and social workers, to create and implement intervention plans.
• Follow up with psychiatrists and primary care physicians regarding any clients who require hospitalization, ensuring seamless communication regarding their mental health care.
• Identify behaviors that may impede recovery and develop strategies to address these challenges proactively.
• Offer guidance and support to family members and primary caregivers, equipping them to manage mental and behavioral challenges effectively.

Your work will focus on a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing various mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties. Your ability to connect with clients from various backgrounds and with different experiences will be crucial in fostering a therapeutic alliance and facilitating effective outcomes.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is required; a Master’s Degree in mental health counseling or a similar area is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience as a Mental Health Counselor or in a similar role, showcasing your ability to engage and support clients.
• In-depth knowledge of medication effects and relevant therapeutic interventions, enhancing your ability to guide client treatment.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to articulate client needs and therapy progress clearly.
• Strong interpersonal skills, providing a sympathetic and understanding nature to create a safe therapeutic environment for clients.
• Relevant training or certifications that underscore your qualifications as a Mental Health Counselor.

The compensation for this full-time position ranges from USD 80,000 to 101,000 yearly, reflecting your experience and productivity.
