Responsibilities & Qualifications
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Seasoned Administrator: Serve as a seasoned administrator for SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, and the M365 Power Platform
  • Technology Leadership: Act as a subject matter expert and stay current with the latest Power Platform updates and best practices. Provide architecture and development guidance on Power Platform projects across our customer base. Stay ahead of tech trends in the Power Platform space, proposing continuous improvements in performance and maintenance of the M365 platform. Serve as a participating member and M365 Platform subject matter expert for customer change control board processes
  • Governance and Center of Excellence (CoE): Work with the customer to establish and enforce governance policies for Microsoft SharePoint and Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse), including environment strategy, security standards, data loss prevention (DLP) policies, licensing optimization, and compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
  • Solution Architecture: Help design scalable and maintainable SharePoint and Power Platform architectures and define development standards for US Federal customers.
  • Development and Integration Guidance and Oversight: Work closely with development and project teams to ensure development aligns with platform and architectural goals. Guide and support development teams, ensuring best practices and coding standards. Provide guidance on Power Platform integration with MS and third-party applications and data sources using APIs and custom connectors. Assist application developers during deployment of applications.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze requirements and assess suitability for Microsoft Power Platform-based solutions or recommend alternate technologies and solutions where appropriate.
  • Embedded DevSecOps practices into the Power Platform lifecycle, including automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, security scanning, and continuous monitoring.
  • Tier III Support: Provide support to resolve Tier 3 issues, coordinate with Microsoft as needed for resolution.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • BA/BS in a relevant subject, such as computer science or equivalent
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in new and related older technology that directly relates to the required area of expertise.
  • Ability to obtain a public trust
  • Possess requisite knowledge and expertise so recognized in the professional community that the Government is able to quality the individual as an expert in the field for an actual task order.

We are seeking a Sharepoint and Power Platform Administrator to join our team supporting the Nuclear Regulatory Commission in Rockville, MD.
The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) GLobal INfrastructure and Development Acquisition (GLINDA) provides a wide variety of Information Technology (IT) support services to the NRC Headquarters located in Rockville, MD; with four Regional Offices.
We're looking for a highly skilled Sharepoint and Power Platform Administrator with a strong background in gathering customer requirements and developing business applications using Power Platform and other Microsoft technologies (such as SharePoint and, Azure) with 10+ years of proven experience to lead the architecture, development, and deployment of scalable solutions utilizing Microsoft Power Platform. You should be highly proficient in the design and building of Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, and SharePoint solutions.
You will define technical strategies and design solutions tailored to business needs and interact with stakeholders. This is a hands-on position requiring strong technical expertise in solution design, governance, automation, and integration of low-code platforms with enterprise systems. The successful candidate will serve as both a technical SME, a mentor to developers, and trusted advisor to our customers.

WAGE INFORMATION
Target salary range: $133,000 - $165,000. The salary range displayed is an estimate only and is not a guarantee of compensation or salary and will be determined on several factors regarding the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies and experience, as well as contract parameters and organizational requirements. The displayed salary is one component of the total compensation package for employees.
