Job Description
This role is for a Product Manager who wants to turn data into decisions.
You will own the reporting and analytics experience end-to-end-from problem discovery through delivery and adoption-with clear accountability for outcomes, not just delivery. You'll operate as a decision-maker at the center of Product, Data Science, Engineering, and customer-facing teams, translating reporting needs into scalable, self-service solutions.
The problems you'll work on are data-heavy, operationally critical, and deeply embedded in how customers run their business. Success requires strong analytical judgment, comfort translating ambiguous requirements into clear designs, and the ability to turn messy, real-world data into insight end users can act on without help from your team.
This is not a role for someone who is satisfied building one-off reports on request. It is a role for a PM who:
  • Wants clear ownership of the reporting and analytics roadmap
  • Is energized by designing self-service systems that scale beyond one-off requests
  • Can balance long-term reporting strategy with hands-on requirements gathering
  • Earns trust by delivering reports and self-service tools that end users actually adopt

What this role entails:
  • Own and evolve the multi-quarter roadmap for reporting and analytics products, aligned to company objectives and evolving customer data needs.
  • Gather and translate reporting requirements from business stakeholders, customers, and internal users into clear specifications.
  • Lead discovery activities with customers, internal users, and domain experts to understand how they consume and act on data today.
  • Design reporting systems and dashboards that let end users self-service their own analytics needs, reducing dependency on ad hoc report requests.
  • Translate validated requirements into epics, features, and user stories with clear acceptance criteria for Engineering and Data Science partners.
  • Lead release planning and readiness for reporting features, ensuring new reports and self-service capabilities are usable, accurate, and supportable.
  • Facilitate roadmap reviews and prioritization discussions on reporting investments with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Represent the reporting product in customer conversations, translating feedback on report usability and gaps into actionable design decisions.
  • Collaborate with Data Science and Engineering to estimate reporting initiatives and inform quarterly and annual planning.
  • Monitor report adoption and usage patterns to identify where self-service is falling short and additional design work is needed.

Qualifications
  • 6-8 years of experience in Product Management or a related role building reports and reporting systems.
  • Demonstrated experience gathering requirements from business stakeholders and translating them into report and dashboard designs.
  • Proven track record designing self-service reporting systems that reduce dependency on ad hoc, one-off report requests.
  • Hands-on familiarity with BI and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik) and comfort working with SQL and relational data models.
  • Experience within US Healthcare and Life Sciences data environments is a strong plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and communicate effectively with executive, business, and technical audiences.
  • Proficient with Jira, Confluence, and modern product lifecycle management tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.
