Interview: Virtual (need LinkedIn) Visa: USC, GC, GC EAD, and H4 EAD Need local of Houston (Houston, TX onsite M-Th, Friday remote option) Need 2 manager references. Send me candidates with samples.

JD: This role supports diverse, high-impact projects within a large, complex corporate environment. The ideal candidate will design and develop interactive Power BI dashboards and reports that transform complex datasets into actionable insights, enabling strategic decision-making. This role also includes a focus on data governance, performance optimization, and integration across various data sources to maintain data integrity and compliance. The developer will work closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications, build robust data models, optimize performance, and ensure data accuracy. The role demands technical depth in Power BI, DAX, and data architecture, along with strong communication skills to effectively work with business partners and cross-functional teams.

Required: 4+ years of experience in Power BI development, including dashboard design, report creation, and data modeling. Proficiency in DAX: Expertise in writing complex DAX measures and calculated columns for advanced data analysis. Data architecture/design experience: Expertise in creating and managing data models in Power BI, integrating data from Dataverse, SQL Server, SharePoint, and other sources. ETL Processes: Experience with Power Query for data transformation and loading, ensuring data quality and consistency. Performance Optimization: Skilled in optimizing Power BI performance, including query tuning and data model optimization. Governance and Security: Experience implementing security standards and best practices, including row-level security and data access management. Workspace Management: Skilled in managing Power BI Service workspaces, datasets, and reports, ensuring smooth data flow and consistent access management. Stakeholder Engagement: Excellent communication skills for gathering requirements, providing training, and supporting end-users. Problem-Solving and Analytical Abilities: Capable of troubleshooting complex data issues and improving report performance and usability.

Preferred: Familiarity with SQL and API integration. Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and best practices. Experience with monitoring and optimizing Power BI Service capacity. Experience with DevOps: Familiarity with development practices and tools like Azure DevOps or Jira. Strong understanding of data architecture and best practices for data exchange. Experience with Power Platform CoE. Proficiency in data visualization best practices and UI/UX principles. Experience with Power Automate.
