Job description

Product Marketing Specialist
Overview
The Product Marketing Specialist is an execution-focused member of the Product Marketing & Brand team, responsible for owning the day-to-day production, coordination, and maintenance work that keeps Richardson's product marketing partnering, strategizing and supporting Richardson's differentiation and leadership in the market.
This role reports to the Director of Product Marketing & Brand and is designed to own the recurring, execution focused work of the function.
This is a foundational role for someone 1+ year in their product marketing career who is coachable, detail-oriented, and eager to build ownership over real deliverables. The person in this role will support the full solution portfolio operationally, with initial depth in Richardson's most active growth priorities:
  • Accelerate Prism
  • AI Roleplay and related AI/digital capabilities
  • Richardson and Challenger methodology positioning within the broader portfolio

Coverage will expand over time into Consultative Selling, Challenger, curriculum and methodology offerings, additional digital tools, and partner-enabled products.
Key Responsibilities
Product Asset Creation & Maintenance
  • Create and update product briefs, one-pagers, brochures, FAQs, battlecards, presentations, and sales enablement materials using approved messaging and brand standards.
  • Adapt approved messaging for different audiences, channels, and formats.
  • Manage reviews, approvals, version control, publication, and retirement of outdated materials.
  • Maintain the product image, screenshot, video, and demo asset repository.
  • Ensure internal teams can easily find current, approved product materials.

Product Page & Portfolio Documentation Management
  • Manage routine updates to product and portfolio webpages, keeping descriptions, screenshots, proof points, resources, and CTAs current.
  • Coordinate updates with Digital, Creative, SEO, Product, and other stakeholders, and conduct QA once changes are published.
  • Maintain source-of-truth product and portfolio documentation, including feature summaries, naming conventions, FAQs, and messaging references.
  • Audit the website, Highspot, campaign materials, and internal repositories for outdated or inconsistent product information.

Proof-Point & Competitive Intelligence Support
  • Maintain a centralized product proof-point and value library, organizing customer outcomes, statistics, claims, testimonials, and case studies.
  • Track the source, approval status, and permitted use of each proof point, and flag outdated or unsupported claims.
  • Monitor competitors and maintain competitor profiles, battlecards, and comparison materials.

Launch Execution & Coordination
  • Maintain launch plans, timelines, deliverables, dependencies, and decision logs.
  • Coordinate reviews, prepare meeting agendas and status updates, and follow up with workstream owners.
  • Manage asset readiness and channel handoffs, and track deliverables through publication and post-launch follow-up.
  • Support the Director of Product Marketing & Brand to operationalize launch strategy into workstreams and channel plans, and independently lead defined smaller launches or feature releases as experience grows.

Sales, Product and Customer Enablement Support
  • Develop and maintain battlecards, FAQs, pitch materials, and training resources in partnership with the Director of Product Marketing & Brand.
  • Maintain product talk tracks, product images, videos, and supporting assets, and track recurring questions and feedback.
  • Help synthesize customer calls, prospect conversations, surveys, and field feedback into organized summaries for leadership review.

Product Marketing Operations
  • Manage intake and tracking of routine product marketing requests.
  • Maintain project trackers, product marketing calendars, and shared files, repositories, and templates.
  • Help establish repeatable processes for launches, asset creation, and updates.

Key Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in product marketing, content marketing, or a related marketing function.
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to adapt messaging across audiences, channels, and formats.
  • Experience with project management and content tools such as Asana and Canva.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and reliable in following work through from intake to completion.
  • A natural curiosity and openness to other teams' priorities, with the ability to communicate and build trust cross-functionally.
  • Demonstrated coachability and an ownership mindset - takes direction well, asks good questions, and takes pride in seeing work through.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience creating or editing short-form video content (e.g., in Canva or similar tools) to support product launches and campaigns.
  • Familiarity with sales enablement platforms such as Highspot.
  • Exposure to competitive intelligence, voice-of-customer research, or win/loss analysis.
  • Experience with website CMS platforms.
  • Familiarity with customer-conversation or call-intelligence tools such as Gong.
  • Background in B2B SaaS, professional services, or corporate learning/training environments.
