Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Senior Consultant in New York, New York.

Work You'll Do
Serve as a trusted advisor to clients in both the corporate and private equity space. Synthesize overall strategy by analyzing a wide variety of solutions, selecting the most relevant tools and techniques to meet specific requirements, including business case, pricing, or complex financial analysis, and interpret and report on outputs. Provide subject matter expertise across critical components of IT M&A engagements. Advise on industry-leading solutions enabling complex M&A transactions. Recommend software and advanced analytics products created from ideas generated within the Deloitte organization to help proactively plan and implement post-merger integration activities, as well as manage complex carve out projects. Create business case decision models and customer financial models and execute process mapping to optimize clients' operational productivity, forecasting, and budgeting processes. Identify and record key deadlines for the workstream in the engagement to ensure clear communication, organization, and coordination between multiple parties. Construct a work plan that will quickly and effectively achieve goals while also allowing for reasonable work time and unexpected delays or pivots.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 2 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.

Position requires 2 years of related work experience in each of the following:
Participating in mergers, acquisitions, carve-outs, disposition alternatives, and post-transaction activities, utilizing Agile Methodology and Human Change Management Body of Knowledge (HCMBOK).
Analyzing and documenting current-state systems, processes, and environments to support project design of future-state/to-be systems, processes and environments, utilizing Blueprinting, Fit-Gap Analysis, and semi-structured and structured interviews.
Defining quick hits, project plans, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), roles and responsibilities, and capabilities to optimize client's operational productivity, forecasting, and budgeting processes through usage of Project Management Office (PMO), Agile Methodology, Microsoft (MS) Project, Gantt Charts, and RAID logs.
Defining the release road map for client solutions by assessing client needs and business objectives, and working alongside subject matter experts to identify solutions and determine feasibility of implementing solutions.
Interfacing directly with client stakeholders to gather functional and technical requirements, analyze client requirements, and translate requirements into project designs to deliver solutions that satisfy client needs, utilizing Jira.
Mentoring junior practitioners by providing feedback, sharing project experiences, and supporting network-building.
