Independence Therapy Center is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team in a remote capacity. This full-time position is integral to providing specialized mental health care, focusing on individuals who have experienced trauma. Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing you to provide care from the comfort and convenience of your home. Utilizing telehealth technology, you will engage with clients through video and phone sessions, ensuring that geographical constraints do not limit access to vital mental health support. Independence Therapy Center promotes a flexible work culture, and while standard working hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, patience needs may require some schedule adjustments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand patients' diverse trauma histories, which will guide personalized treatment plans.
  • Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment strategies that prioritize trauma recovery and resilience.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to offer impactful treatment interventions.
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists and mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for all patients.
  • Provide crisis intervention and responsive support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring that clients receive timely and effective care.
  • Educate patients and their families on trauma-related responses and coping strategies to foster understanding and healing.

Qualifications
