Kelington Behavioral Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our dynamic team. This position is primarily remote, allowing for a flexible work-life balance, while also having access to a collaborative outpatient office environment. You will interact frequently with fellow therapists, psychiatrists, and support staff, ensuring integrated care and a comprehensive approach to each patient’s treatment. Although work is predominately remote, attendance at team meetings and professional development activities will be expected.

• Conduct detailed and trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ trauma histories and customize treatment plans accordingly.
• Develop individualized treatment plans targeted at trauma recovery, ensuring that they are evidence-based and focused on fostering resilience.
• Utilize therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to support clients in processing their trauma.
• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions designed to help clients develop coping strategies and foster a sense of healing and empowerment.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver seamless, integrated care.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention support for patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources to empower them on their recovery journey.
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards to ensure quality care.
• Participate in regular team consultations and case meetings to enhance treatment effectiveness and share insights among colleagues.
• Engage in ongoing professional development by staying updated with the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy.

The patients you will support at Kelington Behavioral Services are diverse and have experienced various forms of trauma. Many clients struggle with PTSD, complex trauma, and related dissociation, requiring a tailored and empathetic approach to treatment. Our clients benefit from a therapist who understands the intricacies of trauma's impact and is committed to guiding them through their healing process.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Nevada.
• Strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders, resilience-building techniques, and trauma-informed treatment modalities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental approach toward clients.
• A calm demeanor and ability to maintain composure during high-stress situations, ensuring clients feel supported.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems as well as other essential computer applications.
• Ability to function effectively within a multidisciplinary team, fostering collaboration and integrated care.

• Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience providing trauma-focused therapy in a clinical setting.
• Demonstrated experience in delivering evidence-based therapies tailored to trauma-affected populations.

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
