Vitality Wellness Therapeutic Clinic is actively seeking a dedicated and empathetic Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team. • Conduct detailed, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories, symptoms, and needs, enabling tailored treatment planning.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that are focused on trauma recovery, fostering resilience and personal growth.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to assist patients in processing trauma.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions designed to help patients navigate their trauma experiences, develop coping strategies, and promote emotional healing.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated treatment approaches, addressing the comprehensive needs of patients.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patient safety and emotional stabilization.

• Educate patients and their families regarding trauma responses, healthy coping mechanisms, and available resources, empowering them on their healing journeys.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation aligned with legal and ethical standards, ensuring the integrity and seamless continuity of care.

• Engage in case consultations and team meetings, contributing to an environment dedicated to continuous improvement in trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay current with the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to enhance treatment efficacy and patient outcomes.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will work primarily with trauma survivors of various backgrounds in Henderson, Nevada. Our clientele may include individuals dealing with PTSD, complex trauma, and severe emotional distress. We aim to create a nurturing environment that prioritizes holistic healing and individualized care, with a focus on restoring functionality and well-being for each patient.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Nevada.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience, preferably in mental health care focusing on trauma therapy.

• Demonstrated proficiency in trauma-focused therapeutic techniques and interventions.

• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and resilience-building frameworks.

• Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, with a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.

• Ability to manage high-stress situations with composure and professionalism.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other digital tools that enhance service delivery.

• Collaborative mindset, with experience working within multidisciplinary teams.
