Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct detailed mental health assessments to identify client needs, strengths, and goals, ensuring the development of effective, individualized treatment plans.
  • Implement a variety of evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to individuals, couples, and families.
  • Facilitate engaging psychoeducational and support groups, encouraging connection among participants and addressing common mental health issues.
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive, coordinated care for clients.
  • Provide crisis intervention services, ensuring timely and appropriate support during mental health emergencies.
  • Educate clients about mental health conditions, treatment options, coping strategies, and available resources within the community.
  • Maintain thorough, accurate, and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems to track client progress.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution is required.
