Sunny Skies Wellness & Healing Center is in search of a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to fill a full-time remote role that will significantly contribute to the mental health and overall well-being of our diverse client population. This role is entirely remote, allowing for flexibility in working conditions while still being part of a collaborative and multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will have access to technology that supports telehealth practices and outcomes measurement. • Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of clients to understand their mental health needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Utilize behavior management strategies to monitor and manage client behaviors, documenting progress and adjusting interventions as necessary.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, which may include educators, psychologists, and pediatricians, to provide comprehensive counseling and psychotherapy services.
• Regularly monitor and analyze treatment outcomes, adapting approaches to ensure the highest effectiveness in therapeutic interventions.
• Provide valuable resources and support to families, assisting them in developing skills to enhance their child’s emotional and social growth.
• Implement evidence-based psychotherapy techniques that have been shown to improve client outcomes and support their journey towards recovery.
• Complete all clinical documentation promptly and accurately, adhering to both organizational and legal standards, making use of electronic health record (EHR) systems.

In this role, you will primarily work with children and adolescents facing a variety of mental health challenges. These may include anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and trauma-related disorders. Our focus on diversity means serving clients from various backgrounds, each requiring individualized plans that respect their unique cultural and personal contexts.

• A master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a closely related field is required.
• Current and valid LCSW license in the state of California.
• A minimum of three years of professional experience in clinical social work services, particularly with children and families.
• Proficient computer skills, with experience in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and electronic health record systems essential for maintaining clinical documentation.

• Experience in a school setting or with school-aged children is highly desirable. Familiarity with educational systems and behavioral interventions applicable within school environments can enhance service delivery.
• Training in third-wave cognitive behavioral therapies, such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), adds significant value to the therapeutic approach.
• Ability to engage in interdisciplinary teamwork to best support client outcomes.

Sunny Skies Wellness & Healing Center offers a competitive salary between USD 120,000 – 130,000 per year, alongside an attractive benefits package that includes:
