Job description

Merchant Success Product Designer (BH-36354) Location: San Francisco, United States Sector: Design & Creative Salary: 70.00 US to 80.00 US per annum Job ID#: 36354 Title: Merchant Success Product Designer Duration: 5 months Start Date: ASAP Location: Remote Job Description: The Merchant Success design team empowers merchants to seamlessly sign up, activate their store, manage their menu, and be successful from day one. We serve merchants of all types and sizes (from restaurants to grocery stores to flower shops) as they sign up for our platform through self-serve flows, Sales-assisted flows, or via integrations with POS providers. Once they're launched, we make sure they have clear actions to take to look their best and grow their business.

We're looking for a contract designer to support high-priority projects in this space. Previous experience designing for onboarding & new user education, guided workflows, or content/inventory management tooling or similar will be useful. Key Responsibilities: Explore complex, ambiguous problem spaces, working with your team to understand the opportunity, and then chart a path forward.

Use quantitative data and qualitative feedback to inform the design decisions iteratively. Own the end-to-end design (user flows, interaction, visual, etc.) across multiple products and projects. Clearly articulate your thinking throughout the design process, participate and present in reviews and work sessions to develop solutions further.

Build relationships and collaborate with cross-functional teams such as UX Research, Product Management, Engineering, Business Analytics, Operations, and Marketing. Provide implementation guidance to engineers and ensure features launch at the highest quality. Qualifications: You have 5+ years of experience as a product/UX designer in a relevant industry.

You enjoy working in ambiguous problem spaces, and bring clarity to your teams through your mastery of the design process (and the occasional design sprint). You value high-quality well-crafted visual design and obsess over the details. You are self-aware, curious, and humble.

Prior design experience with multi-sided marketplaces, ecommerce, and complex workflow tools is a big plus.
