Job Title: Sales & Business Development Manager - healow Insights
Position Summary
Healow Insights is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales & Business Development Manager with deep expertise in Risk Adjustment, Quality Programs, HEDISยฎ, Stars, Value-Based Care and Health Plan Sales. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving market expansion, developing strategic partnerships, generating new business opportunities, and selling healow Insights solutions to health plans, ACOs, MSOs, CINs, and value-based care entities. The individual will work closely with executive leaders, product teams, and prospective clients to demonstrate how healow Insights improves quality performance, closes care gaps, optimizes risk capture, and enhances value-based care outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Sales
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and growth targets.
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new opportunities with health plans, provider groups, ACOs, CINs, FQHCs, and integrated delivery networks.
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with C-suite leaders, medical directors, quality executives, and population health stakeholders.
  • Own the full sales cycle, including prospecting, discovery, solution presentations, proposal development, contract negotiations, and deal closure.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop go-to-market strategies and sales initiatives.
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline and provide accurate forecasting.

Health Plan & Payer Strategy
  • Develop relationships with Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, ACA, Commercial, and Dual-Eligible health plans.
  • Position healow Insights solutions to address payer challenges related to quality improvement, member engagement, risk adjustment, and value-based contracts.
  • Understand health plan priorities associated with CMS Stars, HEDIS, CAHPS, and quality incentive programs.
  • Support partnership development opportunities between health plans and provider organizations.

Risk Adjustment & Quality Programs
  • Leverage expertise in Risk Adjustment and RAF optimization to identify client opportunities.
  • Consult with prospects on strategies to improve documentation, coding accuracy, and risk score performance.
  • Demonstrate value propositions related to:
    • Prospective and retrospective risk adjustment
    • Suspect condition management
    • Hierarchical Condition Categories (HCC)
    • Clinical documentation improvement
    • Quality measure performance
    • Care gap closure
    • Population health analytics
  • Educate clients on best practices for quality improvement initiatives and value-based performance programs.

Solution Consulting
  • Conduct product demonstrations and executive presentations.
  • Translate client business challenges into customized healow Insights solutions.
  • Collaborate with implementation and customer success teams to ensure successful client onboarding and adoption.
  • Participate in industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to promote healow Insights.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or related field.

5+ years of experience in the following:
  • Healthcare sales and business development experience.

Salary Range - $140,000 - $160,000 USD
This role will receive a competitive salary and benefits. The salary for employees hired into this role will be aligned with the range above, exclusive of potential bonuses. If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as professional background, skills, education, and experience.
