• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' emotional, psychological, and social needs using standardized tools and interview techniques.
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate client's strengths and goals, regularly reviewing progress and making adjustments as necessary.
• Utilize evidence-based intervention strategies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy to promote client well-being and recovery.
• Document all client interactions and maintain accurate records in compliance with federal regulations and organizational policies, ensuring confidentiality and privacy.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary treatment team, including physicians, nurses, and addiction specialists to coordinate care and support for clients.
• Provide education and resources to clients and their families, empowering them to understand treatment options and recovery strategies.
• Stay informed about the latest research in mental health and substance use treatment, integrating new findings into practice.

As an LCSW at Hope and Resilience, you will primarily work with individuals confronting substance use challenges and co-occurring mental health disorders. This diverse client population includes adolescents and adults from various backgrounds who require personalized guidance in navigating their recovery process. You will play a crucial role in helping them develop coping mechanisms, build resilience, and improve their overall quality of life.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, ensuring strong foundational knowledge and skills.
• A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in New York State, demonstrating your professional credibility and commitment to ethical practice.
• At least three years of clinical experience in mental health or substance abuse settings, enabling you to bring depth and insight into your practice.
• Proficient knowledge of solution-focused and evidence-based therapy techniques to effectively address client needs.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, allowing for the establishment of trust and rapport with clients and their families.

The salary for this full-time position ranges from $52,000 to $70,000 annually, commensurate with experience and credentials.
