Job description

Back Office Specialist (Poker)

Join a fast-growing iGaming team supporting the operational success of an innovative online poker platform. In this role, you will manage the back-office configuration of tournaments, promotions, loyalty programs, and game settings to ensure a seamless player experience. Working closely with integrity and product teams, you'll help maintain platform accuracy through careful testing, monitoring, and issue resolution. This position offers the opportunity to work in a remote-first, technology-driven environment where precision, ownership, and continuous improvement are highly valued. If you have experience in online poker operations and enjoy working with detailed configurations in a dynamic setting, this role provides an exciting opportunity to contribute to a rapidly evolving product.

Accountabilities
  • Configure and maintain poker platform settings, including rake tables, betting limits, caps, prize distributions, and tournament structures.
  • Organize and manage tournament configurations, including buy-ins, guaranteed prize pools, formats, blind structures, late registration rules, schedules, and player access restrictions.
  • Set up and maintain rakeback programs, loyalty schemes, bonus mechanics, decay systems, and recurring reward payouts.
  • Configure promotional triggers for tournament tickets, free spins, free bets, and other rewards while ensuring correct eligibility criteria and limitations.
  • Process operational requests related to account restrictions, fund freezes, and bonus cancellations in collaboration with integrity teams.
  • Test all configurations in staging environments before deployment, identify issues, and implement timely corrections.
  • Monitor tournament launches, table activity, and promotional functionality to ensure smooth platform operations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and changelogs for all completed configurations and operational updates.
Requirements
  • At least 6 months of experience working with the back office of an online poker platform, iGaming operator, or poker club.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when managing numerical configurations such as rake structures, guaranteed prize pools, and payout multipliers.
  • Solid understanding of online poker formats, including Cash Games, Multi-Table Tournaments (MTTs), and Spin & Go tournaments.
  • Ability to work effectively with operational checklists while maintaining accurate technical documentation.
  • Experience with poker platforms such as EvenBet Gaming, PPPoker, ClubGG, or similar solutions is an advantage.
  • Understanding of iGaming bonus mechanics, including wagering requirements, reward triggers, and payout limitations, is desirable.
  • Basic SQL knowledge for validating configurations is considered a plus.
  • Practical poker playing experience is beneficial for understanding gameplay mechanics and tournament settings.
  • Strong organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Benefits
  • Fully remote work with the flexibility to choose your preferred workplace.
  • Official employment options with administrative support where applicable.
  • 20 paid vacation days, public holidays, and paid sick leave.
  • Comprehensive private health insurance and psychological support coverage.
  • Monthly flexible benefits budget that can be used for hobbies, sports, wellness, or personal interests.
  • Individual learning budget, corporate English lessons, workshops, and access to an online learning library.
  • Regular team-building activities, internal events, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
  • Clear career development opportunities through structured performance reviews, mentoring, and professional growth programs.
  • Collaborative, innovation-driven culture with minimal bureaucracy and a strong focus on continuous improvement.
