Position Overview

High Point Family and Marriage Counseling is actively seeking a dedicated Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) for a full-time position. Work Environment

This position primarily functions in a remote outpatient setting, allowing for flexible working arrangements while still maintaining a strong connection with our clients through video conferencing tools and electronic health records (EHR). Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ biopsychosocial needs to identify challenges and create effective treatment plans.
• Facilitate individual, family, couple, and group psychotherapy sessions, adapting approaches as clinically appropriate.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to collaborate on patient care and contribute to program development.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and treatment plans in the EHR system.
• Engage in crisis intervention and triage evaluations in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
• Uphold ethical standards and comply with agency policies to ensure the integrity of services provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The counselor will serve a diverse clientele, encompassing a wide range of backgrounds and mental health concerns. This includes individuals seeking support for anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and substance misuse. An emphasis on family therapy and solutions to enhance relational dynamics is foundational to our practice. Clients may present with various challenges, requiring tailored approaches to foster effective healing and growth.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Illinois.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in clinical counseling settings.
• Demonstrated understanding of legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for building rapport with clients.
• Experience utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) software effectively.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively within interdisciplinary healthcare teams.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse interventions.
• Experience in public health or primary care settings related to mental health services.
• Advanced training in evidence-based therapeutic modalities.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $105,000 annually, supplemented by performance-related bonuses.
