Our ideal candidate will be instrumental in improving the mental well-being of clients by employing personalized, evidence-based treatment strategies.

About the Organization

At Delta Area Counseling Center, we are transforming the landscape of mental health access and care. • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including primary care providers, to integrate medical and behavioral health services, promoting whole-person health.
  • Use feedback-informed and measurement-based care strategies to adapt treatment plans based on client progress and needs.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes as per regulatory requirements.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including those dealing with psychiatric disorders and substance abuse issues. Your role is crucial in guiding clients through their challenges, helping them achieve positive therapeutic outcomes, and fostering resilience. By leveraging telehealth services, you will extend your reach to underserved populations in Cape Coral, Florida, and surrounding areas, ensuring that mental health care is accessible and effective.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field. Master’s level or doctorate candidates are preferred.
  • Active licensure as a Mental Health Counselor in Florida.
  • Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and basic computer skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of one year of experience working with psychiatric populations or those dealing with substance abuse is preferred.
  • Experience with assessment, diagnosis, and conducting both individual and group therapy sessions.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based practices and community resources related to mental health.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is between USD 85,000 and USD 103,000 annually, complemented by productivity bonuses. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including flexible scheduling, paid time off (PTO), and health/dental/vision coverage.
