Job Title: IT Technical Lead – Software & DevOps
Location: Remote
Duration: Full-Time
NEED IRS MBI Clearance.

Description:
This role will oversee the technology infrastructure and ensure it aligns with business goals. The role requires strategic planning, leadership, and
collaboration with different teams to implement IT systems that enhance productivity and efficiency. The Lead is ultimately responsible for coordinating the effort of the team members, and other stakeholders under the direction of the government technical lead. This role shall be capable of negotiating and making binding decisions for the Contract.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement IT strategies within project timelines.
- Manage and lead IT teams to achieve project deliverables.
- Evaluate and recommend technology investments tailored to project needs.
- Oversee system updates, migrations, and upgrades permanent to the project.
- Ensure compliance with IT security standards and project specific policies.
- Oversee the operation of the DevOps deployment pipeline to ensure successful application delivery

Skill Requirements:
15+ years of experience in IT leadership, architecture, specializing in Java
- PMP certification is highly desirable.
- Fluent in DevOps methodologies
- Highly skilled in DevOps tools such as Cloud Bees Jenkins, GitHub, Nexus etc.
- Proven experience in IT management roles, preferably as a contractor.
- Highly knowledgeable in Java, J2EE, Objected Oriented Programming Concepts and Patterns, XML, REST, Spring Boot/microservices, workflow architecture, and container-based technologies (e.g. OpenShift, Docker, Kubernetes etc.)
- Ability to deliver results within tight project deadlines.
