This position is primarily remote, allowing you to deliver essential mental health services from a flexible setting while still being closely integrated with the school's outpatient office. The work schedule typically spans Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with the possibility of evening shifts and rotating weekends to ensure consistent and comprehensive coverage for student mental health services. You may occasionally be required to be on-call during urgent situations that demand immediate attention.

• Perform comprehensive mental health assessments for students, which include understanding their personal histories, concerns, and identifying risk factors that may impact their well-being.
• Formulate and implement individualized treatment plans collaboratively with students, addressing their unique mental health challenges while fostering emotional resilience and facilitating integration into the school community.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to support students in managing anxiety, depression, and other mental health concerns.
• Conduct both individual and group therapy sessions, equipping students with essential coping strategies, skills for emotional regulation, and promoting personal growth.
• Work in collaboration with psychiatrists, psychologists, and psychiatric nurse practitioners to provide coordinated, holistic care that encompasses diverse therapeutic modalities.
• Offer crisis intervention services during mental health emergencies, employing de-escalation techniques and coordinating with appropriate resources for higher levels of care when required.
• Engage in psychoeducation for students and their families, enabling them to gain insights into mental health issues, available treatment options, and community resources for support.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with relevant legal, ethical, and organizational standards.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, ensuring that knowledge is shared, and collaborations foster an integrated approach toward student mental health.
• Continuously update knowledge of relevant laws and ethical practices within the mental health field, particularly those affecting school settings.

This role focuses on serving a diverse student population, helping them with challenges that range from academic stress and social anxiety to more severe mental health issues. • A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• Current and valid LCSW licensure in the state of Georgia is necessary.
• At least two years of post-licensure experience, ideally in mental health or educational environments.
• A solid understanding of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment approaches, and principles of trauma-informed care.
• Proficiency in conducting assessments and developing treatment plans aligned with students’ needs.
• Experience in delivering both individual and group therapy utilizing diverse therapeutic techniques.
• Strong crisis intervention capabilities, with the ability to stay grounded during high-stress scenarios.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to connect effectively with students from varied backgrounds.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and a high degree of computer proficiency.

• Experience in a school-based setting or working with adolescents and young adults.

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
