The Senior Systems Engineer - Enterprise Mobility is responsible for the design, implementation, administration, and continuous improvement of enterprise mobile technology solutions. This role provides technical expertise for mobile device management platforms (specifically Intune), mobile application management, endpoint security, compliance programs, and mobile lifecycle operations supporting associates and business partners across the organization.
The engineer serves as a subject matter expert in mobile technologies and collaborates closely with Architecture, Security, Product Management, Support Services, and business stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and user-friendly mobile solutions. This role drives automation, operational excellence, and innovation while ensuring alignment with organizational security, compliance, and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and support enterprise mobility solutions, including Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Mobile Application Management (MAM) platforms.
  • Administer and optimize Microsoft Intune and related endpoint management technologies.
  • Develop and maintain mobile device policies, compliance controls, configuration profiles, and security baselines.
  • Lead mobile device lifecycle initiatives, including provisioning, enrollment, deployment, upgrades, retirement, and asset management.
  • Evaluate, test, and implement new mobile devices, applications, and management capabilities.
  • Create automation solutions that improve operational efficiency, reduce manual effort, and enhance service delivery.
  • Partner with Information Security teams to ensure compliance with enterprise security standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Analyze and resolve complex mobility-related incidents and performance issues.
  • Develop technical documentation, architecture diagrams, standards, and operational procedures.
  • Participate in strategic planning, roadmap development, and technology assessments for mobile platforms.
  • Provide technical mentorship and guidance to engineers and support teams.
  • Collaborate with vendors and strategic partners to evaluate emerging technologies and support enterprise initiatives.
  • Support business continuity and disaster recovery planning for mobility platforms.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Mobile Systems Engineering experience in a large enterprise environment.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Intune, Endpoint Management, and mobile security technologies.
  • Experience supporting iOS, Android, and mobile application deployment strategies.
  • Knowledge of mobile device compliance, conditional access, Zero Trust principles, and identity management.
  • Experience implementing automation and process improvements using scripting and workflow technologies.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and complex technical projects with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience supporting healthcare, regulated, or highly secure enterprise environments.
  • Experience with mobile application development or mobile application lifecycle management.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, Defender for Endpoint, and Microsoft security technologies.
  • Experience with device enrollment programs and enterprise app distribution.
  • Familiarity with Apple Business Manager, Android Enterprise, and Samsung Knox.
  • Experience leading large-scale device deployments and mobile transformation initiatives.
  • Relevant certifications such as:
    • Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate
    • Microsoft Certified: Security Administrator Associate
    • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
    • ITIL Foundation

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
