Engineered from high-performance polyimide resins, Vespel solutions meet demanding requirements for wear resistance, low friction, weight reduction, and durability across harsh conditions. Used in aerospace, defense, semiconductor, industrial, and transportation markets, Vespel components-from seal rings to engine parts-offer a lower total cost of ownership with superior longevity.

  • Provide input to the Aerospace & Defense business and marketing strategies
  • Drive innovative approaches to customer solutions, processes, and ways of working
  • Capture and communicate value-in-use insights and competitive intelligence to strengthen market position
  • Support global and regional programs within the Centers of Excellence (COE) framework, as applicable
  • Contribute to R&D programs by providing voice of the customer (VOC) and technical expertise to support new product and application development
  • Play a key role in new part commercialization by translating customer requirements (e.g., dimensions, tolerances, critical characteristics, material specifications) into accurate drawings, quotes, and timely delivery of new parts

Qualifications:

  • B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field
  • 8+ years of aerospace engineering experience, with strong industry expertise and established professional networks (Aerospace & Defense experience preferred)
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally and drive programs across product, operations, R&D, quality, supply chain, sales, and marketing
