• Perform comprehensive strength-based assessments to accurately identify the needs of clients and their families.
• Develop individualized therapy plans that emphasize client strengths, enhancement of skills, and resilience-building strategies.
• Provide ongoing therapeutic interventions to support clients in their journey towards better mental health.
• Create detailed crisis plans, safety assessments, and wellness strategies tailored to the specific circumstances of each client.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress in adherence to state and federal regulations.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers, to provide coordinated care.
• Participate in regular team meetings to share insights and strategies for improving client outcomes.

• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, or a related field is required.
• Must possess a current LCSW, LMFT, or LPC license to practice in the state of Virginia.
• Demonstrated experience in mental health counseling with a minimum of two years in a related role.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with clients and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

• Experience working within community health settings or clinics.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), or trauma-informed care.
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and care coordination.

We offer a competitive annual salary of USD 100,000 – 110,000, commensurate with experience, along with a rich benefits package.
