Bridgeway Mental Healthcare Pte. Ltd is seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our dedicated team. This position is primarily remote and allows for flexibility in your work schedule, with a typical workweek of Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. While the majority of patient interactions will occur during these hours, occasional evening shifts may be necessary in response to patient needs. • Conduct thorough mental health assessments tailored to the unique circumstances of older adults, facilitating personalized patient care.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that consider cognitive development, physical health status, and social influences on mental wellness.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including individual and family therapy sessions, to effectively manage and treat geriatric psychiatric conditions.
• Collaborate with geriatric psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive and coordinated care for clients.
• Provide crisis intervention services during mental health emergencies, demonstrating quick and effective responses.
• Educate patients and their families about various mental health conditions, potential treatment pathways, and local community support resources available.
• Maintain precise and confidential documentation in accordance with healthcare regulations and ethical guidelines.
• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and continuous professional development activities.
• Stay informed on emerging research and best practices within geriatric psychiatry to contribute to the evolving strategies of care.

Your primary focus will be on providing mental health support to elderly individuals facing an array of psychiatric conditions. These conditions may include, but are not limited to, depression, anxiety, and cognitive impairments. You will work to create a trusting environment that empowers these individuals, addressing their mental health needs while fostering supportive relationships.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• A current and valid state licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT is essential for this role.
• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of geriatric mental health disorders and treatment methodologies.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, along with a patient-centered and empathetic approach to care.
• Ability to establish rapport and trust with elderly clients and their families.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications.
• Experience working within a multidisciplinary team setting is highly desirable.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience specifically in the field of geriatric mental health counseling is preferred.
• Experience providing therapeutic services to older adults and their families is an advantage.
• Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic techniques and interventions related to this population will enhance your effectiveness in this role.

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 – 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
