Work Environment

This position is primarily remote and allows for flexibility in your work schedule, with a typical workweek of Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. While the majority of patient interactions will occur during these hours, occasional evening shifts may be necessary in response to patient needs. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough mental health assessments tailored to the unique circumstances of older adults, facilitating personalized patient care.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that consider cognitive development, physical health status, and social influences on mental wellness.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including individual and family therapy sessions, to effectively manage and treat geriatric psychiatric conditions.
  • Collaborate with geriatric psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive and coordinated care for clients.
  • Provide crisis intervention services during mental health emergencies, demonstrating quick and effective responses.
  • Educate patients and their families about various mental health conditions, potential treatment pathways, and local community support resources available.
  • Maintain precise and confidential documentation in accordance with healthcare regulations and ethical guidelines.
  • Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and continuous professional development activities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on providing mental health support to elderly individuals facing an array of psychiatric conditions. Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 – 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
