Job Title: Social Media Specialist Location: Ewing, New Jersey Type: Contract Compensation: $35 - $40 per hour Work Model: Hybrid preferred (remote considered) Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm (37.5 hours weekly)

Overview

Responsibilities

  • Creation and editing of written, video, and photo social content for platforms including Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
  • Respond to comments and consumer queries within 24 hours, escalating as necessary
  • Select contest winners, gather their information, and coordinate product fulfillment
  • Monitor and report on feedback and online reviews
  • Leverage content management tools to measure social performance
  • Package and ship product mailers to influencers and key agency partners
  • Write influencer campaign briefs to generate engaging social content
  • Stay current with social media and influencer marketing trends and bring innovative ideas to the organization
  • Schedule content and copy within social media management systems
  • Manage product fulfillment and audit influencer content
  • Execute tasks associated with digital marketing campaigns
  • Collect data for performance analysis and reporting of campaigns

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 3+ years of related experience in Marketing or Social Media
  • CPG (consumer packaged goods) experience preferred
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong time management and organization skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects
  • Ability to edit social and video content in-house is a plus
  • Willingness to monitor community outside of regular hours, including evenings and weekends
  • “Out of the box” and “disruptor” mindset
  • Deep knowledge of creative best practices across social channels
  • Proven ability to create effective videos and content for organic and paid social media, with skills in graphic tools such as Photoshop and Canva
  • Ability to use data, research, experience, and intuition to understand social audiences and best practices
  • Strong understanding of high-quality content translation to video/photo formats, including Reels, TikTok, and YouTube
  • Passion for social media trends, culture, and content
  • Ability to recommend strategies internally and with external partners
  • Capable of managing multiple projects within tight timelines while maintaining quality
