Job description

Quantic is looking for Subject Matter Experts to review and provide feedback content for undergraduate level courses and potentially become a remote/online faculty for a Bachelors of Business Administration in the following areas:
Business Admin Concentration:
  • Business Law
  • Business Communications
  • Operations Management
  • Project Management
  • Logistics & Supply Chain Management
  • Sustainability and Society

General Education Courses
  • Math
  • Physical Sciences
  • Philosophy/General Ethics

Your Role:
The ideal candidate will preferably have experience creating educational content for and/or teaching Bachelor's (or Master's Degree) programs in one or more of the above listed areas. The Subject Matter Expert (SME) will review, edit, and finalize a scope and sequence structure for the course and later review the final content, as needed. The SME may have the opportunity to become a part of our remote/online faculty.
This is a fully-remote, part-time, 1099 contractor position. The hourly rate is $40-70/hour, depending on experience, credentials, and location. Time expectations:
Part 1: Course Scope and Sequence: Immediate. 3 to 6 hours to review.
Part 2: Review final content, as needed. A few months down the road: 15-20 hours/wk over 2 to 3 weeks.
Part 3: Potentially join our remote/online faculty. Part-time, hours vary (TBD).
All coursework becomes 100% the intellectual property of Pedago/Quantic, unless otherwise noted in a written agreement.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Masters Degree in content area or Master's degree (in any area) with 18+ graduate credit hours in content area (PhD or terminal degree in content area a plus)
  • 2+ year(s) experience teaching and/or writing educational content for degree programs in the relevant content area
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and knowledge of best practices in their area of expertise.
  • Excellent and timely communication skills, including providing and sticking to a schedule.
  • Patience and a willingness to answer questions, adjust content as needed, and ensure all lessons meet our standard of quality.
  • If a contract is to be offered, transcripts must be provided before a contract can be presented.
