• Perform thorough clinical assessments to understand client needs, strengths, and challenges, allowing the formulation of effective, individualized treatment plans.
• Engage in a variety of therapeutic modalities to address issues such as trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts, and grief, tailoring interventions based on each client’s unique situation.
• Facilitate therapeutic sessions with individuals, couples, and families in a manner that encourages open communication and fosters healthy coping strategies.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals to develop comprehensive care approaches, ensuring cohesion in treatment methodologies and objectives.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support to clients experiencing urgent emotional distress, employing appropriate de-escalation techniques.
• Participate in weekly supervision meetings to discuss complex cases and share insights with peers, enhancing collective knowledge and approach to therapy.
• Stay up to date with the latest practices in marriage and family therapy and pursue ongoing education in specialized areas of interest.

In this role, you will work primarily with adults, adolescents, and families facing various mental health challenges. • A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Virginia.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, with a solid foundation in various therapeutic techniques.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, fostering a trusting therapeutic relationship with clients.
• Capability to work independently while also thriving in a team-oriented environment, contributing to shared goals and collaborative planning.
• Well-versed in ethical standards and legal regulations pertaining to mental health practice, maintaining professionalism and the highest quality of care.

• A minimum of two years of experience providing therapy in clinical settings, with demonstrable success in treating diverse populations.
