Sr. Salesforce Engineer/Architect Pharma environment
We are looking to hire a candidate with the mentioned skill sets and experience for one of our clients within the pharmaceutical Industry. This is REMOTE position.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Salesforce Engineer/Architect with strong expertise in the Salesforce ecosystem, particularly Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud, to support enterprise Salesforce initiatives within a regulated
Pharmaceutical environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on Salesforce engineering and architecture experience, including large-scale implementations, integrations, data architecture, and enterprise solution design.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise Salesforce solutions.
  • Design and deliver scalable solutions using Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud for Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences business functions.
  • Lead Salesforce implementations, enhancements, migrations, and enterprise integrations within a regulated Pharma environment.
  • Define Salesforce solution architecture, integration architecture, data models, security, scalability, and best practices.
  • Work closely with business, product, data, and technology teams to translate business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions.
  • Design and support integrations between Salesforce and enterprise applications, data platforms, and external systems.
  • Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to Salesforce engineering and development teams.
  • Ensure solutions align with regulatory, security, compliance, and governance requirements within the Pharmaceutical industry.
  • Support enterprise data and analytics initiatives using Salesforce Data 360.
  • Work with reporting and analytics platforms, including Tableau / Tableau Pulse / Tableau Next.
  • Establish Salesforce architecture standards, development best practices, and governance frameworks.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree inInformation Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in IT/technology experience.
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience within the Salesforce ecosystem.
  • Strong experience as a Senior Salesforce Engineer, Technical Architect, or Salesforce Architect.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud is a must
  • Strong experience with Salesforce Data 360is a must
  • Experience delivering Salesforce implementations and integrations within a regulated Pharmaceutical or Life Sciences environment.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise Salesforce architecture, including:
    • Salesforce solution architecture
    • Application and integration architecture
    • Data architecture and data modeling
    • Security and access controls
    • Scalability and performance
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with enterprise applications, APIs, and data platforms.
  • Experience with AI capabilities within the Salesforce ecosystem.
  • Strong understanding of Pharma and Life Sciences regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with Tableau, Tableau Pulse, and/or Tableau Next.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with technical teams, business stakeholders, and enterprise leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with enterprise-scale Salesforce transformations.
  • Experience working with Pharmaceutical commercial, clinical, medical, patient or Life Sciences business functions..
