In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for delivering expert clinical training on Siemens SPECT, SPECT CT and PET CT systems used in Cardiac, Oncology, Theranostics, General Nuclear Medicine and Diagnostic CT settings. In addition to general MI topics, they will train our customers in CT 3D applications, TrueD, Calcium Scoring and other CT Examination applications including Workstream 4D, Bolus Tracking and reformatting. Experience with syngo via workflows including MM Oncology, MM Cardiology, MI Reading, CT Vascular Analysis, RT Image Suite, third party cardiac packages and various peripheral components such as respiratory gating devices preferred.
The ideal candidate will have extensive clinical experience in the MI lab and provide expert technical training, deliver customer excellence and represent Siemens Healthineers and the MI Clinical Education team with professionalism and a focus on delivering a positive customer experience. The selected candidate will work with the MI Clinical Education team, the MI Internal Training and Development Specialists and the MI Modality Sales and Service teams to promote positive customer relationships and further advance the role of Molecular Imaging in the healthcare world.
The MI Clinical Education Specialist may also be requested to fulfill the duties and responsibilities of a Siemens FlexForce™ engagement (FlexForce™ Tech., FlexForce™ Coach, StartUp Tech., etc.).
Key Responsibilities
  • Travel: This remote position requires > 95% travel [generally weekdays with overnight stays, often outside the job description geography. Occasional requests to support extended hours and/or weekends.]
  • Preparation: Prepare and gather necessary regulatory-approved documentation for end-user training.
  • Communication: Engage in effective and professional communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Training Delivery: Conduct clinical training to educate staff [technologists, physicians, physicists, etc.] on how to use Siemens equipment safely and effectively for newly installed systems, upgraded software/hardware features and ongoing/remedial training as needed.
  • Administrative Tasks: Complete regulatory and core process documents per policy guidelines (timecards, expense reports, vendor credentialing, training in-service reports, etc.).
  • Project & Time Management: Ability to coordinate and facilitate training activities that result in excellent clinical outcomes with a positive impact on patient care, workflow and productivity.
  • Proficiency: Maintaining clinical and technical competency through continued education and participation in Siemens training programs.

Experience
  • NMTCB Certification or equivalent in PET and/or SPECT required.
  • ARRT Certified in CT preferred.
  • Clinical Nuclear Medicine Technologist background with a minimum of 5 years SPECT, SPECT CT, and PET CT experience required.
  • Experience in Siemens SPECT, SPECT CT, and PET CT systems required.
  • BA or BS - preferred.
  • Travel experience and proximity to a major airport are highly desirable.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • PC proficiency to include Microsoft Office tools (Outlook email/calendar, Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint).

The base pay range for this position is:
$74,350 - $102,234
Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
