Scriptmed Rehab and Counseling Center is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our team. This full-time, remote position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the mental health and well-being of individuals in the community while enjoying the flexibility of a home-based setting. We offer a competitive salary range of USD 120,000 – 140,000 annually and a generous hire-on bonus of $3,000.

This position operates within an outpatient office setting that values work-life balance and the personal development of its staff. Our remote work model allows counselors to create their own schedules while retaining the opportunity to connect with patients on a personal level. You will work collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams, contributing to a supportive environment that emphasizes both professional growth and peer collaboration.

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans, including crisis plans, behavioral guidelines, and risk assessments.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment processes in compliance with regulatory standards to ensure quality care.
• Utilize evidence-based screening tools in collaboration with clinical teams to evaluate and address patient needs effectively.
• Work with teams to create and implement positive behavior support plans tailored to each individual’s unique circumstances.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through supervision, training, and attending relevant conferences to stay at the forefront of mental health care.
• Act as a liaison with state agencies, service systems, and community partners to ensure comprehensive resource sharing and support.
• Maintain open communication channels with clients, families, and team members to uphold our mission of fostering wellness and recovery.
• Proactively pursue opportunities to enhance local partnerships, securing funding sources and other supports for our programs.
• Promote the agency's mission and values in all interactions and perform additional tasks as assigned by the Clinic Director.

The LMHC will primarily serve diverse individuals across various backgrounds, including those experiencing emotional distress, substance abuse issues, and developmental challenges. As a counselor, your approach will be instrumental in guiding clients through their recovery journeys, enhancing their self-sufficiency, and helping them reintegrate into their communities.

• A Master’s or Doctorate Degree in a behavioral health field is mandatory.
• Must possess a valid LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC license as recognized by the state board.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate clinical records and produce relevant reports.
• Strong collaborative skills for effective teamwork within an interdisciplinary setting.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate ideas clearly and effectively to clients and colleagues.
• Ability to make informed decisions and exercise sound judgment based on your expert knowledge.

• Previous experience working in outpatient mental health or substance abuse settings.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and assessment tools utilized in mental health care.
• Experience in crisis intervention and behavior management strategies.
• Background in community outreach and resource development is highly desirable.
