• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to understand clients' psychological needs, concerns, and goals.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that reflect the unique backgrounds and preferences of clients.
• Utilize a range of therapeutic methodologies, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness techniques, and talk therapy, to support client progress.
• Monitor and evaluate clients' progress regularly, adjusting treatment approaches as necessary to enhance the effectiveness of intervention strategies.
• Facilitate open and informative discussions with clients about the emotional and financial commitments required for their treatment.
• Promote self-reflection and self-awareness through conversation and therapeutic modeling of adaptive behaviors.
• Build and maintain strong, trusting relationships with clients to foster a safe therapeutic environment.

Our community health clinic serves a diverse population, including individuals from various cultural backgrounds and age groups experiencing a range of mental health issues. You will work with clients facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties, tailoring your approach to meet their distinct needs in a culturally congruent manner.

• A Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field is required.
• Must be a licensed professional counselor, with current registration to practice in Tennessee.
• Previous experience in a counseling role, ideally within a community health setting, is preferred.
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients effectively.
• A demonstrated commitment to implementing culturally sensitive practices in therapeutic work.
• Adept in using telehealth platforms and digital resources to engage clients and track progress.

• Experience working in a diverse clinical setting, especially with underserved populations.
• Familiarity with multiple languages is desired, as it enhances communication and therapeutic rapport.
• Previous involvement in community outreach or wellness initiatives.
• Proficient in documenting case notes and treatment records accurately and attentively.

This full-time Licensed Professional Counselor position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to USD 90,000 annually. In addition, we provide a range of benefits, including:
