Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments for new patients, utilizing standardized assessment tools and personal interviews to inform treatment planning.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based psychotherapeutic interventions tailored to meet the specific needs of each client.
• Deliver therapeutic services, including individual, group, and family therapy, while employing solution-focused techniques.
• Maintain diligent and accurate clinical documentation, including treatment notes, progress reports, and case management records, ensuring adherence to state and federal regulations.
• Collaborate regularly with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, psychologists, and addiction specialists, to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Engage in ongoing case consultations and peer review sessions to enhance the quality and effectiveness of care provided.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, coping skills, and available resources to foster empowerment and informed decision-making.
• Attend training sessions and professional development opportunities to stay abreast of the latest research, techniques, and treatments in behavioral health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The LCSW at Well Being Workshop will work with a diverse range of clients dealing with mental health issues related to substance use disorders, trauma, anxiety, depression, and other co-occurring disorders. Our clients often come from various backgrounds and may face unique challenges related to their recovery process, requiring a sensitive and informed approach.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, with a strong foundation in clinical practice and evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Active and valid LCSW license in the state of Pennsylvania, permitting independent practice.
• A minimum of three years of clinical experience, particularly in providing psychotherapy in a mental health or substance abuse setting.
• Proficiency in solution-based psychotherapy interventions with demonstrated effectiveness.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating empathy, active listening, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment, contributing ideas and support to colleagues.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in detox or rehabilitation settings, with an understanding of the unique challenges faced by clients during recovery.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to streamline patient documentation and communication.
• Previous experience conducting psychoeducation workshops and support groups.

Compensation and Benefits
